All is Revealed

So here it is in all its glory. Supremely technological, awesomely expensive, bloody terrific.
An old man in his doteage. Come on, what is your last last material requirement before you literally 'give up the ghost'. Aren't old men easily satisfied!

Blimey! That's impressive!

I'm not sure what my final(?) big spend up would be after retirement age. I'm 39 so I'm hoping for a few more years to ponder that.

With the rate technology is moving it might even be something no one's heard of yet.

What a beauty.
How many records does she hold?
And now for the playlist...

That's cool. Can I select D12 please?

Truly hideous and at the same time excellent - and just as it should be!

My last material wish? Not sure but I I'd love an original art deco lamp, which when I come to think of it shouldn't be impossible to have at all.

I should have guessed it would be a bit of nostalgia you were laying out the pennies for. Such a great present to yourselves.
Well done on finding it anyway.

I do hope the music is of the right era?
I notice a line-up of CD's inside the 'beast'....none of the old 45's then?
If they are cd's, it must play for hours and hours and hours.
Did I see the neighbours house up for sale?

Good choice, that looks really cool. Are you able to stack it yourself? I am neither grumpy nor old and find myself slightly envious - perhaps I am heading into the old/grumpy arena - eek!

Christmas booked at yours then! Will bring the dancing shoes

That's an impressive piece of kit.
At some time before I'm too old I'd like to blow some money on a round the world cruise.

I left you an award at mine - pick some triumphant music to play as you collect it!

ooooo I luvvit!
What records do you have? Any old Cliff Richard ones? My fave on the jukebox at the local pub was was Devil Woman, love that song.
I just put in a brand new kitchen so I suppose that's my big retirement spend (until the next one).

A trip to the moon perhaps?

Violetsky
Its a crafty copy of the 1946 onwards wurlitzer, cd's and all that. And British made! We can still do something!

Nota
I'm still sorting what to put on it. You've just sorted part of my next blog.

What sort of price are we talking about for the lamp?

Granny
British made in the year 2009!

Dickie
Very observant of you. There are too many snags re the originals.
I'm having a woodburner fitted this week. You might be nearer re the neighbours than you think!

I've just looked up your age and take it that you are forty? You've got it all to look forward to. (and yes you do stack it yourself.)

Jo
And you are very welcome!

Funny how we differ. I'd hate a cruise, too slow by half. Mind you, I've never been on a plane either!

My musical tastes are aweful! See next blog.
